Joey
Joey decided to turn on the cuteness factor and show off.
This shot was nearly a lost one. I used the black and white conversion process and several tools inside Adobe Lightroom 3 to correct some exposure issues. LR3 has set on the shelf for a while because I was comfortable with my own post-processing workflow--scrub photos using Irfanview to cut out 'bad' shots, open RAW files in Adodbe Camera RAW, make adjustments in Camera RAW, then select and move photos into Photoshop for final sharpening and effects.
After installing LR3 and checking out a few basic tutorial videos I gave it a spin. Wow! It seems I can do a majority of my work in the Lightroom interface and avoid all the moving around. I'll stick with it for a few more weeks and see how it feels but I think I've found a great tool.
